The Biorad Confocal importer imports files from a Biorad MRC 600 confocal microscope. In addition to reading the standard image metadata into a record of class "Biorad File", the importer reads Lens and Frame Interval settings and reads in the optional "notes" at the end of pic files as name / value pairs. The thumbnail produced is dependant on the "Image Detail" configuration setting. It displays slices of the image stack.

The importer operates on files with the extension .pic
The Biorad Confocal importer is an image stack importer and therefore supports all of the image import options described in the Image (Thumbnail) options section.
