Catalyzer-based inventory management systems
allow users to
organize and enter data related to freezer samples,
animals, reagents, supplies, and so on. Data entered
on the desktop are uploaded to a server, where they
are made accessible to others via standard web browsers,
subject to
flexible access control. Once the
system has been installed, the users have the capability
to manage it and make changes without needing IT support
or specialized consulting.
Barcode printing and scanning is supported for a variety
of devices. Scanning an item or set of items enters them
into the database, associates items with shelves or
locations, or retrieves the records associated with the
items. Queries can be made by barcode id, sample id,
sample name, user, protocol, or any other data maintained
in the records.
Axiope has worked with our channel partner, Brady Corp to
provide a joint solution for inventory management, relying
on the Catalyzer platform for inventory data management
and Brady Corp's robust labelling technologies and barcode
printers and scanners.
