Catalyzer's Plugins for Biomedical Data Types

Catalyzer indexes a large variety of scientific data formats for digital microscopy, image analysis, electrophysiology and flow cytometry. When files in these formats are imported into a catalog, all the embedded notes, settings, and thumbnails are extracted from them and made available for browsing and searching.

Microscopy

The importers work directly with the native file formats produced by confocal and deconvolution microscopes.

Imaging

Catalyzer adds extra support for image analysis file formats, and also provides advanced 12-bit and 16-bit TIFFs and JPEG support.

Electrophysiology

The importers for electrophysiology formats plot thumbnails of the time series data, and extract the channel settings.

Flow Cytometry

In addition to header extraction from FCS files, the cytometry importer allows you to create dot plots and histograms.
